Underwriting Standards

Our commitment to banking partners requires rigorous pre-vetting of all merchant flow. We do not aggregate volume from unidentified sub-merchants or operate blind portfolios.

During the onboarding phase, our underwriting committee mandates comprehensive disclosure of Ultimate Beneficial Ownership (UBO), structural diagrams, and 6 to 12 months of historical processing statements. New platforms lacking processing history are subject to strict probationary caps and active velocity monitoring until a defensible risk baseline is established.

Risk Scoring & 3D Secure Execution

Our proprietary fraud scoring engines utilize real-time BIN analysis, device fingerprinting, and velocity checks to optimize authorization rates while mitigating chargeback exposure natively.

Transactions exceeding parameterized risk thresholds trigger dynamic 3D Secure step-ups. By executing friction selectively, we shift liability on high-risk payloads while minimizing checkout abandonment for known, low-risk cardholder profiles.

Chargeback Mitigation & Reserves

In high-risk processing, chargebacks are inevitable; systemic MID termination is not. CRYPEX utilizes proactive early-warning integrations (such as Ethoca and Verifi) to intercept disputed transactions before they manifest as network chargebacks, refunding the end-user automatically when pre-defined criteria are met.

Capital preservation is structured via dynamic Rolling Reserves. Holdback percentages are dynamically algorithmic—recalculated quarterly based on real-time chargeback ratios rather than static, punitive flat rates.

Official Statement

AML & Regulatory Framework

"CRYPEX operates strictly within the anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CFT) frameworks established by our jurisdictional partners and acquiring networks. We do not provision infrastructure for restricted OFAC entities or unregulated operators in licensed jurisdictions. Our underwriting protocol mandates comprehensive disclosure of Ultimate Beneficial Ownership (UBO), historical processing statements, and continuous algorithmic monitoring of transaction origins to ensure absolute compliance without sacrificing throughput."
